A person cannot be made to daydream; rather, they have to allow themselves. My films are about that allowance being a natural step to take, and they offer a chance for gazing, wondering and reflection. Taking a moment to let memory and imagination begin to make daydreams.

Day Dream Films are not made for cinema screening. They are for times when people might be waiting about for a while, such as an airport lounge, surgery waiting room or a club chill out zone. Or, for places where people might want another kind of view, such as a prison, a residential care home, a gymnasium or a gallery.

I am currently doing an MA at Nottingham Trent University, and I am exploring how these films are received in different settings. I would be very pleased to hear what you think of the films, and if you have a place they may be shown, please contact me to set that up.

I greatly appreciate the two artists who have collaborated with me in making Day Dream Films. Their contributions are beyond value, and my thanks will never be adequate to their generosity.
