Comments book from Unit 28

Calming and relaxing. Evokes a state of non-thought

Heath and safety would be proud of you - well done G.

Enjoyed images especially faces/masks - mesmerizing!  R.

E.  says: I day dream a lot

M.  says: interesting concept. Like the accessibility ot the work within the retail space. Inviting and relaxing area. I enjoyed myself.

Very interesting. Helped me day dream!

It was fun!!

A psychological breakthrough!

Really inspiring. But I was cold. Brrrrr!

Very good, very inspiring. Liked the cloud images and isn't Mik Godley a good artist? Well done!  M.P.

My favourite bit was the sea and sea bird. Lovely. Look forward to seeing more!  S.R. and R.

Enjoyed both. The sea/cloud studies especially. Ties in with a book of poetry I'm reading - Derek Mahon's Harbour Light. Lots of common ground there. Do you know it?  M.J.C.

Very relaxing. I am a little hungover and this really helped. Mind clearing.

Credits flash up too quickly but otherwise very calming the polar film with more blue is better

Very relaxing

This should be here all the time, it's really good. R.

I loved coming in off the street to find a haven of images and music. The landscapes moved and changed giving me an opportunity to create my own dialogue of what may/could go on here. Thank you for the opportunity to let my mind drift into something beyond my vision.  S.

Nice work. One screen only would be better, and no seats or better seats, and your name bigger somewhere. A.

Would enjoy watching and relaxing to films at the end of the day. Conjured up memories of my primary school and teacher (35 years ago) and I'm not sure why! Very interesting.  A.L.

Fabulous and good   B.W.

Once I realised I really could day dream, I really enjoyed the view I loved the mix of sounds too! Great!   K.

We came to day dream to get away from two children who are busy daydreaming at home as a way to avoid school coursework! I love fallen angels and never tire of seeing stone faces come to life - I enjoy having those facts (ie stone can't move) challenged in such a calm way. Thanks for allowing me to wander through your clouds for a while!  Love  H. and N.

Not enough visible change between the snow images, till the leaves, more contrast would avoid my frustration at waiting. H.

Thank you for having me your films are interesting! But why is my mum, my auntie and my great great auntie in the film and I'm not!?  Love  N.

Walling sleep. Thatπs a good thing! Everything zen, great venue. Bollocks to Angel Row!!   L.R.

Great location advertise! Enjoyed thoroughly. R.J.N.

I think it's brilliant.

It was dead good.  M.

Watery goodness.  D.

Very soothing.  J.

Made me want to go on holiday. It has also reminded me about a thought earlier this week that I would relax more when I am awake - not just late at night or when I'm asleep.

Make time to day dream I guess! C.

It's very nice to sit still and focus on something that doesn't really matter. I.C.

Really pleased to find this by accident. Beautiful. M.W.

It's great, thanks. N.

Lapping tides of long years where families knit and picnic joy in the sand sounds shifting coast to coast quivering in cold and hot memories. Above our hearts snow clouds and warm words snuggle and tickle toes and the transformation of time rich in the jewels of joy knowing this experience is all mine it's a keep sake of my childhood music in my blood!  For Carol.  Love and peace D.S.

Ideas are not expressed only in words. Images and sounds take us to a place beyond intellect where thought and no thought have equal value. Beautiful and contemplative - thank you Carol.  G.L.G.

Thanks very relaxing, I would like one at home   R.J.

Quiet and serene with gentle visuals - calm space D.W.

I like the sea at Withernsea it comes and goes as do we but the sea will be beyond us forever. Lovely, love the ladies. Good luck to you Carol. R.G.

Lovely. Like being asleep whilst still awake enough to relish how good it feels! M.

Well done Carol, you have made some great films for mental relaxation. Very nice for us to see familiar scenes and faces to day dream with! And you have worked hard to make the shop into a cinema and been successful! Hope it was good for you too!  Love S.

Thank you Carol for your beautiful films. ≥Still≤ in particular I liked for its quiet subtlety. And ≥face428≤ I found very moving. J.

Hi Carol  Just thought I'd tell you that your beautiful films are still in my minds eye. Thank you so much. J.

Very good indeed, liked the snow I have never watched it in that way, so it was interesting and innovative. Good luck with the rest. M.

Thanks for an oasis in a hectic day K.

Strangely messed up my perception! Snow is cloud, sea is snow, movement is an imposition. Thought provoking! G.

A wonderful oasis of calm in the bustle of the city - some lovely meditative images thoughtfully put together. Thanks, F.

The magnitude of small changes - interesting images and presentation. Worked really well in the space. R.

Oh I do like to be beside the seasideä what a lovely day out! Your films are truly peaceful I spent ages watching snow thinking it was cloud! With much love J.

A tour de force - what an achievement! This really works well - I even liked the music! Nice to see those little sketches too. Much love M.

Both screens could be the same and why not one of them on the window. J.

I applaud your brave and beautiful vision - Ambient wow! Love D.

The man who lives in the Sahara hears many words from visitors - thousands, but he responds with only two words - which will never be forgotten. That's why prophets come from the desert - nothing to do there but think.  N.
